Synopsis: A teen with a taste for pop music has a chance encounter with her favorite singer and experiences a Hollywood adventure beyond compare in this upbeat teen musical for the entire family. For Sara Olson (Maggie Castle), pop star Christopher Wilde (Sterling Knight) is the best thing to happen to music since the microphone. But her younger sister Jessica (Danielle Campbell) doesn’t want anything to do with her older sibling’s obsession. Synopsis: A woman has to decide if she wants to stay with her husband after three decades together in this German drama with a comedic undertow. Inge (Ursula Werner) is an ordinary woman in her mid-60s who is married to Werner (Horst Rehberg). Inge and Werner have been together for over 30 years, and while their relationship is still a happy one, it’s clear that in most respects their lives have fallen into a rut. Inge makes extra money mending clothes for others, and when she drops off a pair of trousers for one of her customers, Karl (Horst Westphal), he invites her in for a moment. Inge and Karl sense an immediate attraction to one another, and after a few minutes together they repair to the bedroom. Unwilling to lie to her husband, Inge confesses her infidelity to Werner, but at the same time she admits she wants to continue her affair with Karl. After all their years of marriage, Werner isn’t interested in an open relationship, and their daughter, Petra (Steffi Kuehnert), is appalled by her mother’s brazen behavior. Unable to have her cake and eat it too, Inge realizes she must choose between a man she’s loved most of her adult life and one who has brought a new excitement to her autumn years. CLOUD 9 (aka WOLKE 9) was an official selection at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival.

New release starring Colin Farrell with some decent ratings. Quality for the screener is fairly nice, and no watermarks or black and white scenes in the sample. Enjoy!

Flipinacoin: This was filmed in Ireland and made it’s debut at the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival (I am not familiar with the size or acclaim of this festival but it did win some awards there). From the trailer and reviews it looked somewhat promising. After seeing the first three minutes of the movie it captured my interest enough to ensure I will give this one a watch. Enjoy!

bDk: From reviews Ive read/heard the movie is not that good as it was supposed to be. Lots of people were waiting for it, and now they arent satisfied… BUT the girl you can see there is Farrell’s girlfriend, shes from Poland, her name is Alicja Bachleda-Curus, and I love her  I’ll watch the movie just to see her face for almost 2 hours

Directed by Alex Chapple, “Diverted” is a 2009 CBC made-for-tv movie. Judging from the cover, we can see that it’s another piece about the 9/11 event. Released by GFW, size is 1CD. FYI, this release was nuked for bad ivtc. Also sample was not provided in the release.

PLOT: The movie is a fictional story inspired by the true events of what what happened to the people of Gander, Newfoundland and the passengers on the planes on Sept. 11, 2001. The Federal Aviation Authority shut down the skies over the United States. Suddenly, more than 200 aircraft flying over the Atlantic at the time had to find a new place to land. Thirty-nine of those flights made their way to Gander, Newfoundland, and on that day 6,500 people descended on a town of 9,000. Mike Stiven (Shawn Ashmore) is a young air traffic controller who falls in love with a woman he never should have met that was on one of the diverted planes (Anita Majumdar). Samuel Stearn (David Suchet) is a New Yorker desperate to contact his missing son who was in the World Trade Center. Marion Price (Joanne Whalley) and Andrew Tyler (Colin Buchanan) are passengers who find solace in each other in their depressing lives.

Modern Cinderella-romance where a young successful lawyer panics when he finds that he has fallen for a working-class girl.

Workaholic attorney Jonathan MacIntyre (Merriman) is too busy at the firm to make time for himself or any personal life. But when he gets trapped in a stalled elevator with carefree, eccentric Liberty Taylor (Chabert), they discover that opposites really do attract. The sparks are there, but after Jonathan finds out that Liberty is on a career path consisting of only odd jobs and unfinished degrees, he grows conflicted over whether to follow his heart or settle down with a professional woman who is more like himself. It takes his motherly secretary, Rosemary (Patty McCormick, “Frost/Nixon”) to intervene as matchmaker to set the two up for a second chance.

After a successful first date, Jonathan and Libby start to fall for each other, but the two can’t help but seem mismatched as Libby’s disorganized creativity clashes with Jonathan’s rigid professionalism. Their less-than-supportive friends, Tessa (Hedy Burress, “He’s Just Not That Into You”) and Nick (Jonathan Bennett, “Mean Girls”) are all-too-eager to notice this, and try to convince the two that their relationship won’t last. Eventually, Libby and Jonathan butt heads over their different lifestyles, and ultimately must decide whether their love can rise above their differences.
